Westwood CDC’s mission is to provide community awareness and address the economic issues that plagues the city of Chicago.

Passport to Adventure is a summer camp that usually serves 30-50 young campers and employs 20-30 opportunity youths aged 15-21. This year, Covid-19 has diminished our workers and our programs.  We were only able to hire 8 opportunity youths and our in-person camp had to be canceled to promote health safety!

We ARE hosting a virtual summer camp in order to have our teenagers working and to provide our children with many productive experiences during this pandemic.  We are in need to help with the management of the opportunity youths and children in the program.  So we are looking for you to aid us in this difficult time. We are providing employment training and supervision. The virtual camp is FREE serving youths ages 5-13, but our usual funding sources are not available.
